HMG Church Background

History Maker Generation Church (HMG Church) was born out of GSJA Charismata, specifically from its youth ministry, which had been growing and developing for many years. From an organizational perspective, HMG is not a branch, franchise, or church plant that resulted from a division. Rather, it is best understood as a new venture or spin-off, a new church established to reach a different generation while sharing the same vision and values. Recognizing the need to reach young people with a language, culture, and approach that resonates with them, GSJA Charismata intentionally developed its youth ministry into a church dedicated to the next generation: HMG Church.

Today, HMG Church operates independently in its leadership, administration, finances, and daily operations. At the same time, it remains under the spiritual covering and organizational oversight of GSJA Charismata. A helpful analogy is that of a parent organization launching an independent brand or subsidiary to serve a different audience while maintaining the same core values, culture, and mission. For this reason, we do not see HMG as a church separated from GSJA Charismata, but as a new church born to reach a different generation.
